Planning a trip to Kelowna? Visit our collective of unique wineries, cideries, and distilleries for our distinctly Okanagan tasting experiences, where you can find Kelowna-made wine, cider, spirits, and mead.
We're a collective of independent, family-owned properties in the South East Kelowna area. The trail is unique because it features not just traditional wineries, but also cideries, a meadery (honey wine), and distilleries, all within a very short driving distance of one another.
The properties are nestled in the rural hills of South East Kelowna, roughly 10–15 minutes from the city center. Key access roads include K.L.O. Road, McCulloch Road, and June Springs Road.
Most tasting rooms are open daily from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM or 5:30 PM during the peak season. Some locations are closed throughout the winter or may have slightly different schedules - it is always best to check the opening hours before heading out.
It depends on the property and the size of your group:
Tasting fees vary by location, but typically range from $5 to $20 per person. Depending on location and experience, tastings typically include a sample of wines, ciders, meads, or spirits to introduce you to the location's products.
Sip South East Kelowna offers an incredible variety of Okanagan wines, ciders, spirits, and meads.
Many of our locations offer food and snacks - from on-site restaurants, resident food trucks, and locally-made charcuterie, you can enjoy a bite to eat as you soak up the Kelowna sunshine and sip on a craft beverage.
Most properties in South East Kelowna are family-friendly and offer expansive outdoor spaces. Dog policies vary, but most outdoor patio areas are welcome on-leash pets.
Throughout the summer, you can find live music at many of our locations. Head to the Calendar of Events for upcoming live music events at our wineries, cideries, and distilleries.
Because the properties are close together, it is easy to visit 3–4 in an afternoon.
"Smart casual" or "Okanagan Chic" is the standard, but there is no dress code! Wear comfortable shoes (flats or wedges) as you will likely be walking on grass, gravel, or orchard soil.
The collective often hosts joint events, such as the "Christmas in the Country" self-guided tour in late November, which features a self-guided holiday tasting tour among all locations.
